Choose a classic 2- or 3- seater sofa that is 210 cm or 230 cm long. Or build your own “sofa landscape” from the varied range of modules, chaise long, corner sections and the centre sections without armrests. Chess has two different seat depths of 95 cm and 115 cm plus a 155 cm chaise long. Additional options are removable frame covers, loose down pillows, moveable neck-roll pillows and armrest covers.

Chess provides you with as many possible combinations as a chess game. Choose your next move and put those modules into play.

Eilersen Chess Fabrics

It all began with a horse-drawn carriage. In 1895 the young Niels Eilersen started out as a coachbuilder.

To make his wheels, he was the first person in Denmark to use steam to bend wood. And when cars eventually ran horse-drawn carriages off the road, Eilersen started making handmade bodies for cars and busses.
